Represents the Director of Construction and AVP of PD&C at planning and construction conferences. Conduct special studies and projects assigned by the Director or AVP. Coordinate the requirements of UF with the needs of building occupants in the planning and design of new construction and major renovations. Responsible for planning, designing, and monitoring the construction and alteration/renovation of UF buildings. Train and develop PD&C Project Managers Level I and II responsible for project management duties, including project direction, project budget, accounting, contracts, negotiations, reporting, and paper processing. Work with the Director and Assistant Director of Training to develop new policies, procedures, standards, and divisional goals. Assist the Assistant Vice President (AVP) and Directors in developing an orientation program for new project managers. Provide guidance to Project Managers I and II in the project management process. Mentor and provide orientation/training of necessary PD&C policies, procedures, and document flow to Project Managers I and II in PD&C offices.
